Epafi provides contact data infrastructure: multi-source import, ML-assisted duplicate detection and merging, data enrichment, company relationship mapping, and related APIs, CLIs, and web interfaces (together, the "Service").

These terms form the contract between you (or the organization you represent) and Epafi. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept them. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

• +You must provide accurate registration details and keep credentials confidential.
• +You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including API key usage.
• +One person per seat on shared workspaces; shared logins are not permitted on paid plans.
• +You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• +We may suspend accounts that create security risk or violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

The Service is for managing contact data you are entitled to hold. You may not:

• +Import data obtained unlawfully, scraped in violation of source terms, or consisting primarily of consumer data without a lawful basis.
• +Use the Service to build a competing data-broker product or to resell enriched records.
• +Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without written permission (see our Security page for responsible disclosure).
• +Interfere with other customers, exceed rate limits through abuse, or attempt to bypass plan limits.
• +Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications.

Plan limits (records, enrichment credits, rate limits) are documented in the product and enforced softly first: we warn before we throttle, and we throttle before we suspend.

• +Burst behavior is fine. Sustained abuse of shared infrastructure is not.
• +Enrichment credits reset monthly and do not roll over.
• +If you consistently approach a limit, we will reach out with upgrade options before anything breaks.

• +Paid plans bill monthly or annually in advance, in USD, via Stripe.
• +Trials convert to paid only if you add a payment method — no silent conversions.
• +You can cancel any time; service continues until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds except where required by law.
• +Prices may change with 30 days’ notice; changes never apply to a period already paid.
• +Failed payments trigger a 14-day grace period with full access before downgrade.

We warrant that the Service will materially conform to its documentation and that we will meet the uptime commitments on our Security page. Otherwise the Service is provided "as is": matching and enrichment are probabilistic, and you remain responsible for reviewing merges before acting on them downstream.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, and Epafi’s aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can leave whenever you want: export everything, delete your workspace, close the account. We can terminate for material breach with 30 days’ notice and a chance to cure, or immediately for abuse that endangers other customers. On termination, data handling follows the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.
